Congratulations to Hussein Al-Asadi and Dallas Krentzel who were recently awarded fellowships from the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program! The NSF GRFP fellowhip provides support for outstanding graduates students who are pursuing research based master's and doctoral degress in NSF-supported STEM fields.
Dallas and Hussein are both first year graduate students in CEB. Hussein is interested in gene evolution. Dallas' research interests focus on the evolution of morphological disparity and complexity across large scale phylogenetic units.
