Congratulations to CEB faculty member Andrew Hipp, who was recently named a 2013-2014 Fulbright Scholar!
Hipp is a Senior Research Scientist at The Morton Arboretum. His research focuses on how oak species have adapted to previous climate shifts in order to understand how they will respond to current and future climate change. Hipp's Fulbright will fund his research stay in 2014 at the lab of Antoine Kremer at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research, INRA Bordeaux-Aquitaine. While there, he will collaborate with EVOLTREE, a consortium of 23 research groups in 13 European countries that investigates “the evolution of trees as drivers of terrestrial biodiversity.”
